★★★★ Choir! Choir! Choir! review - By Abi Whitefield

Choir! Choir! Choir! is an engaging show concept where the audience becomes the performers. The show (or perhaps that should be the immersive experience?) has two hosts, Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman, who are the choir masters for the session and lead the audience into singing in harmony.

After warming the audience up with some vocal exercises, the choir masters break up the audience into two halves, teaching them to sing harmonies of various songs. The singing interspersed with the two hosts performing random song requests from the audience. The cast seems effortlessly able to pick up any song suggested. This pair are comedic, great singers and instrumentalists and fab leaders too.

This show is perfect for those show-choir lovers, music geeks or even those who enjoy an occasional night out doing karaoke. It’s an ultimate feel-good experience. An hour of singing some classic bangers (think ‘500 Miles’ and ‘Mamma Mia’) and being encouraged to dance along really leaves you leaving in a great mood. Even those who had been dragged unwillingly to the show by their friends and families were singing their hearts out by the end. This show feels like it brings a community together.

If you want to sit and quietly watch a show for an hour, this probably isn’t for you. However, if you want to have fun with your friends or pick up your mood, this show is medicine for your soul. It feels like a party!
